Fattoria La Massa            

A rare opportunity to stay in an 18th century villa amid the vineyards of one of Chianti’s smallest but most famous wine producers, Fattoria La Massa. The views from the villa and swimming pool are simply breathtaking, looking out onto a deep valley dotted with olive groves, woodland and the occasional farmhouse.

Position: Fattoria La Massa is accessed along an unsurfaced road of 1.5km. Panzano, a pretty hilltop village is just 2km,where there are a number of highly recommended restaurants and wine bars. The villa offers accommodation for 2 groups of 6 persons or the two apartments can interlink to guest up to 12 persons wishing to have the pool for their private use. We regret that this property is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. The property is furnished with antique furniture throughout and comprises the following:

Apartment One, First Floor (10 steps)

Interior: Entrance through the main wooden doors. Impressive hall with decorated ceiling and banqueting table. Second lounge with upholstered sofas and chairs, television and card table. Kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and dining area.

Apartment One has 3 double bedrooms (one of which is a twin). All the bedrooms have en-suit bathrooms. 1 bathroom has a tub/shower fixture and the other 2 have showers. Telephone.

Exterior: Garden at the front of the villa laid to lawn including the chapel, stone fountain and statues. The garden is furnished with tables/chairs/sunloungers and is for the private use of guests.

Apartment Two, First Floor (12 steps)

Entrance through the side of the villa with lounge/dining room with upholstered sofa and television. Three double bedrooms, one of which is a twin. Kitchen with impressive open-fire, oven/hob, ‘fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Dining area. Separate bathroom with tub/shower fixture.

Exterior: Furnished eating area near the swimming pool under the shade of pine trees.

Swimming pool: 12 x 7 metres, in a panoramic and private position at the rear of the villa.

Further information: Fattoria La Massa is rented from Monday to Monday, instead of Saturday to Saturday. Please arrive between 4.30 and 5.30pm and depart before 10am. A breakage’s deposit is required on arrival. Central heating is available for a fee.
